Lemmayian – which means Blessed one

Nkasiogi is – The one who is always in a hurry.

Yian is one of the series currently in development which will go into production later this April. This is the first 2D animation series aimed at the cultural nexus of the 200m Swahili-speaking / East African market region. Granted, Maasai are their distinct people with their language and culture (which we will be sensitive to). Culturally by their position amongst the wildlife of the Great Eastern Parks, they’re arguably the most well-known tribes of Africa. We are telling the story of Yian, an aspiring junior warrior and his recently returned home best friend Nka as they and their kin interact traditionally with the animals they live amongst. We want to educate and entertain during the many encounters with wild animals during Yian’s stories of adventure and mystery.
